Who we are

Krapple Studios is an independent software development studio. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you browse this store, create an account or purchase software, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your email address, username, avatar and (if you choose to link it) your Discord user ID.
  • Order data: the products and licences you have purchased, the amount paid, the currency and the payment method used.
  • Licence data: licence keys issued to your account, their activation state and expiry.
  • Support data: the contents of support tickets you open, including any attachments.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and aggregate analytics.

Why we use it

  • To create and secure your account.
  • To process payments and deliver the software you purchase.
  • To issue, validate and renew licences.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To detect fraud and abuse, and to keep the service available.
  • To send transactional email such as purchase receipts and licence notices.

Payment processing

Card and wallet payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We never receive or store your full card number. Those processors act as independent controllers of the payment data you give them, and their own privacy policies apply.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with processors who help us operate the store — hosting, database, email delivery, payment and support providers — and only to the extent needed to provide the service. We may also disclose data where required by law.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart and currency preference. Optional analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser, though you will be signed out.

Retention

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account exists, and afterwards for as long as we need them to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Support tickets are retained so that we can keep a history of the issues you have reported.

Your rights

Subject to your jurisdiction, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, request deletion, or object to certain processing. Contact us through the support channel and we will respond within a reasonable period. Deletion requests may be limited where we are required to retain records.

Security

Access to production data is restricted, credentials are stored separately from the application, and administrative access requires an authenticated staff account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these controls seriously and review them as the store evolves.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
